BACKGROUND

 

Acts of violence increase over the holidays, which is believed to be caused by the added stress and expectations. To go to a self-help website is to admit you have a problem or are in need of help. This can be hard for some people to do. Therefore, a lighthearted entertainment site is more welcoming to a wider audience and can achieve the same goal as a self-help site.

 

BRIEF

 

Create a campaign that addresses a social issue.

 

IDEA

 

A disguised self-help website where people can have a laugh, vent, get some advise and realize that they are not alone. This site aimed provide a place where people can blow off some steam. Writing is known to be meditative, provide clarity, lower anger and diminish stress. By lowering holiday stress, it is possible to decrease holiday violence.
